About me
I’m Simon Kardynal, and I’ve spent my life in the trenches.
After 26+ years in the Canadian Armed Forces, retiring as an Aircraft Maintenance Superintendent at the rank of Master Warrant Officer, I’ve seen leadership tested in every environment, from domestic exercises to international deployments. Today, I’m humbled to serve as the Royal Canadian Air Force Air Staff Headquarters Chief Warrant Officer (CWO)in Ottawa, Ontario.
But my mission doesn’t stop at the office. My journey through a Master of Arts in Leadership at Royal Roads University ignited a new passion: helping emerging leaders build foundations that won’t crack under pressure. I created Trench Leadership to bridge the gap between high-level theory and the real-world "Trench Tools" needed to lead with heart.
